I’m not saying the people who live in Oklahoma and who were affected are making a big deal, I agree with you guys but before you jump down my throat saying terrible things, think about my point. I live in Massachusetts where this tornado has absolutely no effect on me and I still can’t turn on any regular channel without hearing about Oklahoma over, and over, and over again. It’s a shame what happened, and I truly feel bad but I’m done hearing about it when it has nothing to do with me.

THEN TURN OFF THE FUCKING TELEVISION, AND STOP SHOWING YOU’RE OBVIOUSLY UNSYMPATHETIC POSTS IN A TAG ABOUT PEOPLE WHO GOT HIT BY A FUCKING TORNADO.

Just because Florida gets hit by a hurricane doesn’t make it any less of a big deal, and Florida isn’t anywhere near Oklahoma.

Grow the fuck up, you should know when to keep things to yourself.

Guess I’m off duty now.

I’d really rather not be, but if they don’t need me, they don’t need me.

Good luck, boys.

I hate to come off as insensitive because I really do have sympathy for those whose houses were destroyed in Oklahoma but I mean, do we really need to make a huge deal out of it? Lately the news feels the need to take everything and make it one big huge deal. I mean, if you live in Oklahoma it shouldn’t be bizarre that you would get a tornado. Actually that should be one major reason you wouldn’t want to live there in the first place, you know? Idk I’m just saying. P

Yeah, and because we live in tornado alley, we can’t grieve about losing everything we’ve ever owned from some freak tornado that rarely, if ever, strikes a city like Moore.

We must be full-on retarded to expect help to rebuild a city that has estimated over a billion dollars in repair cost.  Not to mention the emotional despair some children just went through, and all the counseling they’re going to need because any time it gets dark outside suddenly they’ll freak the fuck out.

Why don’t you bitch at people who live in areas prone to earthquakes or hurricanes?  They must be just as stupid and shouldn’t expect help or sympathy either, right?

Please keep your bullshit comments to yourself until all this has passed, then you can spout all the stupidity you’d like.

Apparently one of my buddies from Afghanistan was in the 7-11 that got hit.  In ICU, unconfirmed stable.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of life and devastation caused by yesterday’s tornado in Oklahoma. Prince Philip joins me in offering our heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families at this difficult time. Our deepest sympathies go out to all those whose lives have been affected, as well as the American people.

I think units are going to be cycling in and out of Moore for a week or so.

I have no idea for sure, but there’s a huge list of things that need to be done.

Mad props to the firefighters, EMS, and police on scene, though.  Great work.

twelvebangbang asked: Sorry about what happened in Oklahoma, man. Anyway I can help with the situation just let me know.

We appreciate it, bro.

If at all possible, check if your local Red Cross/Salvation Army is sending anything out to Moore.

Or check here.

Went down to Moore this morning and seeing the devastation in person is unbelievable. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. It felt like stepping into a post apocalyptic world.

Just a friendly reminder that all but first responders, emergency crews, power/cell/food crews and Guardsmen should stay out of Moore if at all possible, unless you’ve been immediately affected by the tornado.

It’s a lot harder to clear the rubble when there’s civilian traffic everywhere.
